“lpmSoccer3D® offers us extensive possibilities to measure and monitor the football load on a conditional area. This aids us in correctly planning and dosing the training pressure, whereby we increase the gains from training. We can then prevent the team or individual players from becoming over or under trained. This is paid back in a fitter team, better performance and fewer injuries.”
Jos van Dijk, Training physiologist FC Bayern Munich
Louis van Gaal leaves no room for chances
FC Bayern Munich makes use of lpmSoccer3D® for every training. The players are monitored daily and the information that this produces, is used for individual feedback and the planning of following training courses.
Football condition of players important performance factor
FC Bayern contracts Louis van Gaal per 1 July 2009. The former trainer of AZ, who reeled in the Dutch championship with AZ in the 2008-2009 season, worked with Inmotio’s lpmSoccer3D® in Alkmaar and had the monitoring system installed in Munich. For the coach and his staff, including video-analyst Max Reckers and training physiologist Jos van Dijk, lpmSoccer3D® makes many aspects of football measurable.
“This enables us to measure the training performance whereby we can train the team and players more directly. lpmSoccer3D® therefore plays a large role in the correct dosing and periodisation of the training pressure and the measurement of our players fitness. The system also makes it possible to analyze tactical aspects of game situations in training courses. This significantly contributes to the essence of top sport; development and performance,” thus Jos van Dijk, Training physiologist FC Bayern Munich.
For Louis van Gaal and his staff the first season with Bayern Munich was extremely successfully with the win of the Bundesliga and the German Cup (DFB-Pokal) as well as reaching the Champions League final.
