FC Bayern München improves play by using Inmotio lpmSoccer3D® monitoring system

The European football competition has started again. This summer Inmotio's lpmSoccer3D® has been implemented at the FC  Bayern München's training facility. The new trainer of FC Bayern, Louis van Gaal, previously used various innovative analysing systems, including lpmSoccer3D® at Dutch National Champion AZ. In close cooperation with both AZ and FC Bayern, Inmotio has further developed the system in order to enhance the analysing capabilities, specifically in the tactical area. Thanks to the ability to import data from other systems into  lpmSoccer3D®, like for example game analytics or event labelling, all tactical analytics can be applied to match date afterwards.

From the first training on, Louis van Gaal closely monitors all movements of the players. Real-time data obtained, like heart rate, position and  speed is saved by the system. This way, training staff is able to even better adjust the training programs to each individual player's needs  and to create an optimal training environment targeted at performance improvement.

"Thanks to the ability to import data from other systems, for us lpmSoccer3D® not only is perfectly suited for monitoring and analysing player performance during training, but we can also review important game situations with our team after the match. This makes it much easier to give us insight in specific physical and tactical situations so we can learn how to act the next time".
